In order to decarbonize the coastal area of Yokohama City, a council was held in which businesses in the coastal area, academic experts, and administrative organizations shared information.
Decarbonization in the coastal area, where approximately 40% of the Yokohama city area is emitted, is an important key to greatly advance the decarbonization of Yokohama City as a whole.
With the participation of companies in the coastal area who are eager to decarbonize, we will strategically promote decarbonization and aim to become a "carbon neutral port" unique to Yokohama.
From Yokohama Port, I would like to take a strong lead in Japan's decarbonization.
