We held "2022 Yokohama City General disaster drill" on Sunday, August 21.

The Yokohama City General disaster drill was held with the aim of strengthening cooperation among citizens, city officials, and related organizations as well as improving local disaster prevention and disaster response capabilities.
Many citizens and related organizations participated in the training on the assumption that an earthquake with magnitude 8.1 in Sagami Bay and a maximum seismic intensity of 7 in the city, causing collapse of houses and damage to public utilities.
In the event of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to assume a complex disaster with natural disasters.
Yokohama City will continue to work closely with various actors to protect the safety and security of citizens while working closely with various actors, assuming all situations.
