Tetsuya Yoshida, Chairman of the Kohoku Ward Youth Instructor Council
Tetsuya Yoshida, who became Chairman of the Kohoku Ward Youth Instructor Council in April 2024. Thank you very much.
I have been working as a youth instructor in Kohoku Ward for 19 years, and this is my second term.
In the previous fiscal year, the COVID-19 pandemic calmed down, and we were able to hold various events.
Unfortunately, in 2022, we were unable to carry out the nature experience class due to bad weather, but we were able to do it in 2023.
By chartering a sightseeing bus and going to play with everyone across the boundaries of the district, various experiences were possible, and it was very popular with the participating children.
The PET bottle rocket tournament was blessed with the weather and was able to be held after taking measures against infectious diseases in 2022 and 5 years.
The moment the PET bottle rocket was shot all at once was truly a masterpiece.
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation in the activities of youth instructors, including those involved in Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association.
Also, everyone who retired from the youth instructor in the 28th term, thank you very much. Thank you very much.
In the activities of the 29th term, youth instructors will work together to consider new initiatives while utilizing their experience so far, participate, local people, etc.
We would like to develop a business that can make everyone involved smile. We look forward to your continued support and cooperation in the activities of Kohoku Ward Youth Instructors.

Experience-based environmental education through the natural environment during childhood, which has a significant impact on human formation and personality formation.
Heartful Net One Voice Campaign
The importance and difficulty of "building trust" in relation to young people ... The result is not immediately appearing, but a long stance of 5 years and 10 years. I think that everyday conversation starting from "Good morning, Hello ..." to the young child of the neighborhood is an important step of the engagement with the child. It wasn't very much entered, it's just a day around 10 am or 11 am, it's not a glittering thing at 2:00 3 am, a community wrapped in a warm heart like a soft sunshine It's up to you to launch the "Hatofuru Net One Callout Campaign".
This is a volunteer activity that anyone can participate in with their own minds. The warm and gentle heart that everyone has is the support of this network. I want our city to be a city where we can raise children with peace of mind without crime. I believe that the role of our youth instructors is to serve as a warm and mental adhesive for the local community, ward offices, Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, PTA, police, service groups, etc.
We have understood the intent of launching activities that anyone can participate in with the heart, and have requested and called for the participation and cooperation of local residents. To promote this campaign, we have created flyers and orange flags and posted them on bulletin boards and homes in each Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations.
- To deter crime by appealing that the entire community is paying attention to creating a safe and secure city for children to live with peace of mind.
- Raising awareness of exercise participation, raising cooperators and friendships, etc.
We look forward to seeing such effects.
The next introduction is a PET bottle rocket tournament as part of the Kohoku Kumin Festival. Every year in November (September until 2018), we go to Tarumachi Park on the riverbed of Tsurumi River, and are full of more than 500 parents and children each time. Using a very convenient PET bottle, which is said to be the largest invention in the 20th century, which is closely related to daily life, we will raise familiar environmental issues and experience crafts and reduced science experiments. In addition to practicing the Kohoku Ward tournament, we hold rocket production workshops in 13 districts in the city. Please see plastic bottle rocket design drawing (PDF: 712KB) for how to make it. In workshops in the district and greetings on the day of the tournament, children are able to understand environmental issues in an easy-to-understand manner. For example,
"If you burn it as garbage after using such a convenient plastic bottle, it will generate unhealthy gas and it will be very dangerous. That's not just for us humans. What is a plastic bottle made from? It's from oil. There seems to be a lot of oil on this earth, but it's a limit. There's a lot of things that run cars, make important electricity, and the clothes that everyone wears are made of oil.
The fact that garbage is now divided into various types is also to repeatedly use limited resources such as oil and wood. ・・・」
That's right.
I will launch all at once with the signal countdown!
※Please see Kohoku Asashi (public relations paper) for the results of the tournament.
