-Please see the pamphlet "Frog Net" that supports elderly people with dementia and their families-

The population is aging in Kohoku Ward, and the number of people with dementia is increasing.

In the ward, the police, the government, and related organizations cooperate to create a monitoring network in cooperation with local residents so that they can live a safe life even if they have dementia. .
In March 2010, we created a brochure “Frog Net” that supports elderly people with dementia and their families. This brochure introduces "frog sheets" and "name seals" that you want to use in preparation for walking alone with dementia, as well as what local residents want to ask.

Requests to the local community

Walking alone, such as the elderly with dementia, can be life-threatening unless you find it as soon as possible.

If you see an elderly person who cares about it, please talk gently and slowly first.
And please call the name seal contact number and police number 110.
In case of life-threatening situation, please call fire department (emergency) 119.

※Name seal is Kohoku Nekko-no-kai (Local Activities Center for Persons with Disabilities) Phone / FAX: Available at 045-350-5526. It is also available at the shop on the third floor of the Kohoku Ward Office, but please refer to the pamphlet for details.

  • Bare feet and chigged footwear
  • I feel anxious and calm.

Request to Family

Walking alone, such as the elderly with dementia, begins suddenly one day.
Make the following preparations on a regular basis so that you do not panic when you are gone.

(1)Fill out the “Folding Sheet for Elderly People with Dementia”. (When it disappears, bringing it to "Koban" (police box) or police department is very useful for quick search.)

(2)Put a name sticker on the clothes you wear with the contact information.

Brochures and "Folding Sheets for Elderly People with Dementia" are distributed at the following locations.
