Details of the petition

1 The form of the petition
There is no fixed format in the petition, but the reference format is posted at the end.
2 Introductory Members
In the case of a petition, it is necessary to introduce at least one city council member.
Please accept the signature of the member of the Diet, seal.
3 Date of submission
Submissions may be made at any time, but screenings at each regular meeting (February, May, September, December) are only submitted as follows.
Please refer to “City Counsil Schedule” for the schedule of regular meetings. Please contact us for details on the deadline.
In the case of submission by mail
Must arrive 4 days before the plenary session date (excluding city holidays) at the beginning of the regular meeting
In the case of submission by bringing
Until noon three days before the plenary session date of the regular meeting at the beginning of the regular meeting (excluding city holidays)
4 Requests for Submission
(1)Please submit it in Japanese. When submitting in Braille, please attach a translation as much as possible. (Please make the paper A4 as much as possible.)
(2)Please specify a petition, state the date of submission, and address it to the chair.
(3)The petition should be briefly bulleted. If the content is more than 2, please write it separately. If you can't write separately, clearly distinguish the matter.
(4)For things related to buildings, etc., please attach guide maps and sketches as necessary.
(5)The petitioner must state, sign, or seal Address. Please inform Phone number at the time of submission.
(6)If the petitioner is a corporation, state the location and name, and sign or seal the representative. Please let us know the contact Phone number at the time of submission. In the case of an organization that is not a corporation, submit it in the name of the representative, and sign or seal the representative. (A group seal is also acceptable)
(7)If there are multiple petitioners, determine the representative and specify it in the text, and attach the signature book behind the text.
(8)When submitting a signature list, the signer must also have Address's entry and signature or registered seal.
(9)A copy of the petition (a document containing the petitioner's Address, name, etc.) will be made public. Thank you in advance.
(10)If you are submitting by mail, please let us know the contact Phone number.
(11)Petitions sent by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
5 Examination by the Committee
If you would like to know the details of the committee's review, please see the Internet broadcast (outside site) and monitor broadcasts.
Please refer to the “City Counsil Schedule” for the specific date of the committee review date.
6 Voting at the Plenary Session
Petitions that have been concluded by the Committee will be voted at the plenary session. You can observe the plenary session.

7 Results of deliberations
A petition that has been concluded will be answered by mail.
Petitions that have not been concluded and have been treated as continuous examination will be notified by mail. Petitions that have been treated as continuous examination will be reviewed again at the next regular meeting.
