The plenary session in Yokohama City Council is open to anyone.

1. Meeting location City Counsil Plenary Hall, 7th Floor, City Counsil Capitol
2. 216 seats (of which 8 are wheelchair spaces)
3. Hearing reception
   • Reception desk on the 3rd floor of the City Counsil Capitol Building
     ※Please fill in form with your name in Address and receive your admission ticket. Please return it after hearing.
   • Numbered tickets will be distributed about one hour before the scheduled opening time of the Reception hours plenary session. After that, the reception will start 30 minutes in advance and will be accepted at any time during the meeting.
     ※Tickets will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you would like to observe with children, you can use the "Parent and Child Hearing Room" (2 rooms), so please inform us at the reception. Please note that the service will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The committee can be observed by anyone.

2. Auditorium
   • Each committee room and Steering Committee Office: 20 seats (including 2 wheelchair spaces)
   • Large Conference Room: 40 seats (including 2 wheelchair spaces), but 30 seats (including 2 wheelchair spaces) when using separate rooms.
3. Hearing reception
   • Reception desk on the 3rd floor of the City Counsil Capitol Building
     ※Please fill in form with your Address name and name and receive a hearing certificate for each committee. Please return it after hearing.
   • Reception starts 30 minutes before the scheduled opening time of the Reception hours Committee, and will be accepted at any time during the meeting.
     ※If the capacity is exceeded 30 minutes before the opening of the session, a lottery will be held. If you do not reach the capacity, you can observe on a first-come, first-served basis until you reach the capacity.

Person who hopes for hearing, I would like cooperation with infectious disease measures.

• As a basic infection control measure, please cooperate with hand washing and hand disinfection.
• If you have fever or cold symptoms, please do not observe.
• If possible, please observe at intervals of the seats.
• Wearing a mask is at your own discretion. Depending on the congestion situation, we may ask you to cooperate with wearing it.

The plenary session, the Standing Committee, Special Committee, the City Counsil Steering Committee, the First and Second Special Committees on Budget, the First and Second Special Committees on Budget and Settlements, the Special Committee for Budget and Settlements, the board member of All Members can be viewed on the monitor TV in the City Counsil Capitol. Please come to the City Counsil Capitol on the day of the event.

The contents of remarks are displayed in real time on the monitor installed in the plenary hall and the large conference room.
We also lend tablet terminals that allow you to view character display at hand.
Please apply at the reception desk on the day.
Tablets will be rented on a first-come, first-served basis (two main conference halls and one large conference room).
※Please note that the character display displayed on monitors and tablet terminals in each room may be partially incorrectly converted due to the introduction of an AI-based voice recognition system.

Sign language interpreter / summary writing interpreters are available for hearing.
If you wish to have a sign language interpreter or abstract writing interpreter, please submit the following application form by fax, e-mail, or mail at least 7 days before the scheduled date of hearing (excluding weekends and holidays). Please send it toCity Council Bureau Public Relations Section (or verbal application by phone is also possible).
We will contact you as soon as we know if we can secure sign language interpreters.

※Seven days ago, it is a guideline for securing interpreters, and we will adjust as much as possible for applications received after this.

At Yokohama City Council, we hold plenary sessions for students of elementary school studenｔ students to feel closer to the City Counsil and become more interested in parliament and politics.

A plenary session with general questions, bill-related questions, budget representative questions, and budget-related questions in the schedule of each regular meeting.

Replacement system for each group in 20 minutes from 10:00. Conducted by 40 to 70 people per group.

Please submit the prescribed application form in advance.
※Due to the operation of the conference, the holding time may be shifted. Please note that in this case, adjustment will be required on the day.
※In addition to the plenary session hearing, if you wish, we also conduct a parliamentary explanation (about 30 minutes) if you wish.
