We gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the 60th International Timber Organization board member in Pacifico-yokohama.
The International Tropical Woods Organization (ITTO) is the only United Nations Convention organization based in Yokohama, and the highest decision-making place in board member is held every two years in Yokohama.
ITTO's efforts for conservation and sustainable management of tropical forest resources have greatly contributed to solving global issues such as mitigating global warming. As a member of the international community, Yokohama City will continue to work toward decarbonization and the achievement of the SDGs.
