We visited Bangkok, Thailand and met with Governor Chachart Shittipan.
Yokohama City and Bangkok have built a relationship of trust through more than a decade of technical cooperation. Last year, the Yokohama City and Bangkok City signed a joint declaration (*) for decarbonization of Asian cities, and received the support of 44 cities and government agencies.
We reaffirmed the importance of the role played by the "city" closest to citizens and businesses in decarbonization, and discussed the decarbonization measures promoted by both cities, and confirmed that they would further cooperate with the decarbonization of Asian cities.
