I visited Bangkok, Thailand and met Governor Chatchart Shittipan.
The city of Yokohama and Bangkok have built a relationship of trust through more than 10 years of technical cooperation, and last year we made a joint declaration (*) for decarbonization of Asian cities in Yokohama, with the support of 44 cities and government agencies.
We shared the importance of the role of "city" closest to citizens and businesses toward decarbonization, discussed decarbonization measures promoted by the two cities, and confirmed that they will further cooperate in decarbonization of cities in Asia.
