In order to strategically promote decarbonization toward 2050, the Yokohama Decarbonization Innovation Council was established and the first meeting was held.
Based on the knowledge of companies, governments, and academic experts, the aim is to promote and lead the decarbonization of Yokohama by creating urban-type decarbonization innovations in collaboration with industry, government, and academic experts.
Based on strong cooperation with all of you, we will maximize the potential of Yokohama City and become a major hub for next-generation energy such as hydrogen, and aim to become Japan and the world's leading decarbonization city.
