We were invited to the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition introducing "Arab now" photographed by a Japanese diplomat stationed in Arab. This photo exhibition was held for the first time with the inspiration from the "Nippon - Ambassador's Eyes" photo exhibition (*), which is also held every year in Yokohama.
During the ceremony, we had a talk with ambassadors from the Middle East and Africa.
We welcome the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) to Yokohama, and we will continue to deepen our ties with people in the Middle East and African countries.
