We were invited to a regular meeting of the African Diplomatic Corps in Japan.
Ambassadors from Africa to Japan visited elementary and junior high schools in the city, where children are familiar with African culture and charm, and Yokohama has been promoting technical cooperation with African countries.
We will do our utmost to ensure that the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) in 2025 will be welcomed to Yokohama as the "city closest to Africa" by connecting the bonds with African countries.
