In collaboration with e-Mobility Power Co., Ltd., the opening ceremony was held at the centerminami station square rotary in Tsuzuki Ward   to start a demonstration experiment on the installation of public roads for EV chargers. Following the case of Aoba Ward, which started in fiscal 2021, this is the second case in Japan that a quick charger for EVs will be installed at the station square rotary.
The station square rotary, which can be seen by many people, has excellent access and can be used 24 hours a day.
By clearing the challenges gained from this demonstration experiment one by one, we will advance the development of charging infrastructure in urban areas, leading to the spread of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
