A kick-off event for the nationwide simultaneous cleaning campaign "Autumn Sea Garbage Zero Week 2022" conducted by the Nippon Foundation and the Ministry of the Environment was held in Yokohama, and we gave a greeting at the opening ceremony.
After the ceremony, we participated in cleaning activities to reduce marine litter, which is becoming more serious worldwide, and worked together with the participants to pick up trash.
Each of us living in Japan, surrounded by the sea, will continue to do what we can do now and expand the circle of action in order to pass on the beautiful sea to the future.
