Regarding the new metropolis system "Special City" that Yokohama City is aiming for early realization, we exchanged opinions with the Asahi Ward and the Tsurumi Ward district council chairpersons. We told everyone who is engaged in activities that support daily civic life in the area about the necessity of legislation of "special city" and had many opinions and questions, and were able to exchange a fulfilling exchange of opinions. Going forward, we will continue to visit each ward and aim to realize the legalization of "special city" while listening to the opinions of local residents.
