- The Superintendent of Education and the Board of Education were convened, and the Yokohama City General Education Conference was held in 2021. At the meeting, we discussed the future education policy of Yokohama, taking into account the recent changes in the situation surrounding the school site, such as the impact of the new coronavirus infection and the development of terminals per person based on the GIGA School Initiative, the 4th Yokohama City Exchanged opinions in anticipation of the development of the Basic Plan for Educational Promotion. We will continue to work with schools, boards of education, related ward bureaus and related organizations, and will work hard for children in Yokohama.
