Yokohama City Council BCP (Business Continuity Plan)

The Yokohama City Council BCP provides comprehensive and flexible activities to protect the lives, bodies and property of citizens and to ensure peace of citizens' lives in the event of an emergency such as a large-scale disaster occurs in Yokohama City. We have a common understanding of how Yokohama City Council and members of the city council should respond, and have been formulated with the aim of improving the system as a parliament (October 21, 2015).
This BCP assumes the period from immediately after the occurrence of a disaster until the parliamentary function can be operated generally normally, and defines the roles of parliaments and members of the Diet during that period and specific initiatives.
