Information on Acceptance of Administrative Inspections from other cities

To other city councils and members of the Diet who wish to conduct administrative inspections
Thank you for considering Yokohama City as an inspection destination. If you would like to request an administrative inspection, please read the following and apply.

• Acceptance for the implementation (including on-site inspections) until August 2024 has been closed.
• When considering a new application, please consult with us on a schedule after late October 2024 (after the 3rd regular meeting) (but up to one month before the desired date).
• Acceptance of administrative inspections may be refused depending on the situation of the corresponding department and the schedule of the session. Thank you very much for your understanding.
• In addition, we will accept online administrative inspections using the WEB conference system when both conditions such as the online environment, are met.

Please fill out the application form with required items and send it by e-mail.
In addition, we would like you to apply one month before day when administrative inspection is desired.

※The subject of the e-mail should be "Application for Administrative Inspection (Local Government Name)".

The following period is a guide. It may vary depending on the schedule of each year.
（For the schedule of City Counsil, please refer to the schedule of regular meetings and committees.）

• Mid-January (around January 11-20)
• Late April (around April 16-28)
• Mid-June to late August (from June 11 to August 31)
• Late October to mid-November (October 21 to Nov. 20)

Even within the above period, we may not be able to accept it depending on the situation of the corresponding department.
※In the following cases, we will refuse acceptance in principle.

• The date you wish to visit is the closing date of the city hall (including closing time), one week before the session, during the exhibition, and during the exhibition that overlaps with the committee schedule, the year-end and New Year holidays, the end of the fiscal year, and the beginning of the year
• Application within one month before the desired date

• Please be sure to send this application form before consulting even if you want to check the availability of the schedule.
• Up to two items for administrative inspection should be limited to two items, and please describe them specifically and in detail. (Example: Please describe it in the form of “: History, results, and ingenuity of the start of the business”. Avoid rough descriptions such as "about business." )
• If you wish to visit the City Counsil Capitol Building during an administrative inspection, please specify it as an inspection item.
• Please apply at least one month before the date on which you wish to have an administrative inspection.

• We will inform you of the person in charge of acceptance. (It takes about 7 days after the application.)
• Once acceptance is confirmed, please send the following documents to the Policy Research Division.
