Information on accepting administrative inspections from other cities

To other city councils and members of the Diet who wish to have an administrative inspection
Thank you for your consideration of Yokohama City as an inspection destination. If you would like to request an administrative inspection, please read the following and apply.
Announcement (Updated November 12, 2024)
- We have closed the application for FY2024.
- Applications will be accepted from March 1, 2025 for the implementation in 2025.
- Please apply at least one month before the date on which you wish to have an administrative inspection.
- When considering a new application for 2025, please consult with us on a schedule after late April 2025. (Please refer to the “Schedule of Regular Meetings and Committees” for the schedule of City Counsil.)
- Depending on the situation of the corresponding department and the schedule of the session, we may refuse to accept administrative inspections. Thank you very much for your understanding.
- In addition, online administrative inspections using the WEB conferencing system will be accepted when both conditions such as the online environment are met, so please consider it.
Application for administrative inspection
Please fill out the application form with required items and send it by e-mail.
In addition, I would like you to apply at least one month before the day you wish to have an administrative inspection.

※The subject of the e-mail should be "Application for Administrative Inspection (Local Government Name)".
About acceptable period (estimated)
The following period is a guide. It may vary depending on the schedule of each year.
(Please refer to the “Schedule of Regular Meetings and Committees” for the schedule of City Counsil.)
- Mid-January (from January 11 to 20)
- Late April (from April 16 to 28)
- Mid-June to late August (June 11 to August 31)
- Late October to mid-November (October 21 to November 20)
Even within the above period, we may not be able to accept it depending on the situation of the corresponding department.
※In the following cases, acceptance will be refused in principle.
- The desired date of inspection is the closing date of the city hall (including closing time), one week before the session, the day when the committee schedule overlaps with the committee schedule during the session and outside the session, the year-end and New Year holidays, the end of the year, and the beginning of the year are expected.
- Application after less than one month prior to the desired date
Notes on application (Please be sure to read before applying.)
- Even if you want to check the availability of the schedule, please be sure to send this application form before consulting.
- The maximum number of administrative inspection items is 2 items, and please describe them in specific and detail. (Example: Please describe in the form of "how the business started, achievements, and devised points". Please avoid rough descriptions such as "About business". )
- If you wish to visit the City Counsil Capitol during an administrative inspection, please specify it as an inspection item.
- Please apply at least one month before the date on which you wish to have an administrative inspection.
Acceptance of Acceptance
- We will contact the person in charge about whether or not to accept the application. (It takes about 7 days after application.)
- Once acceptance is confirmed, please send the following documents to the Policy Research Division.
[Documents to be submitted] Details of the official request to Chairman Yokohama City Council (whether or not there is seal), a list of participants, an inspection itinerary, and questions.
