The 90th Kanto City Council Presidency Regular Meeting was held in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, and was attended by Chairman Senoma.

A regular meeting of the Kanagawa Prefectural Municipal Presidency, consisting of 19 cities in Kanagawa Prefecture, was held. From Motoichi, Chairman Senoma and Vice Chair Fukushima attended from Motoichi.

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the inauguration ceremony was held at the Yokohama City Hall Atrium, and Chair Senoma attended.

Last year, Yokohama City and Shanghai celebrated the 50th anniversary of friendship city partnerships.
Taking this opportunity, an exchange exhibition of works of art will be held from April 11 to 25 in order to further develop the friendly relationship between Yokohama and Shanghai for the new 50 years.
Chairman Senoma attended the opening ceremony in Shanghai, China, and congratulated on behalf of Yokohama City Council.
In addition, Chairman Senoma visited Shanghai City from April 10 to 12, where he met with Mayor Jokai and related political organizations.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, Yokohama Municipal Izumino Elementary School, which integrates Akuwa Elementary School and Yokohama Municipal Izumino Elementary School, opened in Izumi Ward on Monday, April 1, 2024.
Upon opening the school, a study group led by local residents was set up in 2021, and enthusiastic discussions from the perspective of children have been repeated.
