From Thursday, December 21, 2023, a demonstration experiment began to install EV chargers on public roads in the Shinko Chuo Hiroba of the Minato Mirai 21 District. This is the third case in the city to install a charger on a public road, and this is the first facility in Japan that can charge an EV truck on public roads as in this case.
Chairman Senoma and Vice-Chairman Fukushima attended the ceremony held to commemorate the start of the experiment. On behalf of City Counsil, Chairman Senoma said, in order to realize a decarbonized society, it is necessary to promote sustainable development in all areas and promote the formation of a decarbonized society.

The Yokohama City Meritorious Awards Ceremony was held at the City Hall to commend those who have been particularly successful in Yokohama City Government, and Chairman Senoma and Vice-Chairman Fukushima attended together.
This year, 18 members of the Midori Ward Election Commission and Yokohama City Council (17 members) were awarded the awards.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Yokohama Shanghai-Shanghai Friendship City Alliance, a welcome ceremony was held with the Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, and Chairman Senoma and Vice-Chairman Fukushima attended.
On behalf of City Counsil, Chairman Senoma congratulated him and prayed that he would continue to interact in various fields and situations to further deepen the bonds between the two cities and deepen friendly relations.
