On January 17, the Day of Disaster Prevention and Volunteers, we conducted headquarters training and headquarters operation training to improve disaster headquarters's ability to respond to crisis in the event of a disaster and strengthen cooperation with related organizations.
Prior to the training, I, the head of the City Disaster Response Headquarters, gave a strong determination to protect citizens in the event of an emergency, based on the lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake 30 years ago and the Noto Peninsula Earthquake last year. I gave instructions to prepare.
We will make use of the results of today's training to further prepare for earthquakes.
