Q&A related to transfer transport

Q1. When will transfer be carried out?

It will be implemented when it is determined that it will take some time to recover due to a problem with the operation of the train.
※Please note that transfer transportation may not be carried out if recovery is expected in a short time.

Q2. Can I get on any route freely?

It's not possible to get on any route. Limited to the specified route of another route when a train operation is hindered in the ticket section that the customer has. Available routes vary each time, so please check before using.

Q3. How do you use transfer transportation?

Please show the target ticket to the staff at stations on other routes subject to transfer transportation. If you have a transfer ticket, please present it at the same time. In that case, please go through the staff passage. (If you touch the ticket gate, the fare will be deducted from SF (remaining charge).) In addition, it cannot be used only with the transfer boarding slip.
※If you are using a mobile Suica commuter pass or mobile PASMO commuter pass, please show the screen of the commuter pass section to the staff.

Q4. Is there a fare for the transfer transportation section required?

If you have a eligible ticket, you can use transfer transportation, so there is no fare required.
If you have a ticket that is not eligible, you will not be able to use transfer transportation, so you will be charged the fare for the section of your boarding.
Even if you have an eligible ticket, if you ride beyond the valid section, you will be charged the fare for that section.
※Please note that if you use the round route when transfer transportation has not been carried out, you will be charged the fare for the section where you boarded.

Q5. Can transfer transportation be used with the remaining charge of IC tickets such as Suica and PASMO?

Transfer transportation uses the section of the ticket purchased by the customer on other routes. If the station entered with an IC ticket such as Suica / PASMO (excluding the commuter pass section) or if the train operation is hindered during the ride (with the fare not collected), the boarding section will not be determined. Q6. Can transfer transportation be used with a special ticket for the elderly (Keiro Pass), a special ticket for the welfare (welfare pass), or a special ticket?

Transfer transportation is for other routes based on the transportation contract, so boarding certificates (tickets) that have not concluded a transportation contract are not eligible.

Q7. Can buses be used by transfer transportation?

Depending on the railway company / station, transfer to route bus may be performed. In this case, please receive a transfer boarding slip at the station on the route where the problem occurred.
If you are using transfer transportation to a local bus, please hand the transfer boarding slip to the bus crew.

Q8. Can a taxi be used for transfer?
