Senior passes

"Senior passes" are great value passes allowing unlimited travel on city buses for persons aged 65 and over.
Eligibility
Persons aged 65 or over on the date that the pass becomes valid.
How to buy
You can buy from 14 days before start of new period of use.
Please show an identity document, such as a valid Japanese driving license, health insurance card, or passport.
*When renewing, no further such documents are required as long as you bring your current pass with you.
Who can buy
New passes must be bought in person.
Renewals may be made by someone else on behalf of the holder. (Please bring the pass currently being used.)
Senior passes are only purchased using named PASMO cards ("My Suica").
When buying a pass, please say if you have a PASMO or Suica card.
An additional 500 yen deposit is required when buying a new PASMO card. This is refunded when you cancel your card.
*Not available in some cases.
Services covered and prices
The Senior pass can be used on all city bus routes.
It cannot be used on the Yokohama subway, or the Akai Kutsu tour bus.
It cannot be used on other bus operators' services.

There is no discount for persons with disabilities.
