about 30,000 years ago | Stoneware is used at the eastern point of Kitagawa Kaizuka |
About 15,000 to 12,000 years ago | Jomon pottery and stoneware are beginning to be used at Mt. Mihana (Hanamiyama Ruins). |
about 6,000 years ago | The sea enters the center of the Tsuzuki area and forms a shell mound (Orimoto shell mound, Chigasaki shell mound) |
about 2,100 years ago | A moat settlement in Otsuka, and a square tomb is built in Toshikatsudo. |
eighth century | It became "Musashi Kuni Tsuzuki-gun" by the Ritsuryo system |
927 (Encho 5) | Sugiyama Shrine, Tsuzuki-gun, Musashi-kuni, is written as a Shikinaisha at the Engi era ceremony. |
15th to 16th century | Around this time, Chigasaki Castle was built. |
18th century | Oyama pilgrimage to Mt. Oyama and Mt. Fuji, there is a bustling post town. |
1871 (Meiji 4) | Became "Tsuzuki-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture" due to the abolition of clan |
1879 (Meiji 12) | Tsuzuki County Office moved to Kawawa |
1889 (Meiji 22) | Municipal organization enforcement in Yokohama |
1939 (Showa 14) | The sixth city area expansion was carried out, and Kohoku Ward was born. At this time, Tsuzuki-gun was transferred to Yokohama City and Kawasaki City, and the place name of Tsuzuki disappears |
