[Family Registry Division] About duties of Saturday open agency day

The family register window (15th window on the 2nd floor) and the resident registration / Seal Registration / My Number Card window (12th window on the 2nd and 4th Saturday) are open from 9:00 am to noon on the 2nd and 4th Saturday.
Open on Saturday, it is often crowded than on weekdays, and some procedures may ask you to take care of it or come back to the agency at a later date.
Therefore, we apologize to our customers, but we ask that you check the following points and come to the Agency.

Notifications are concentrated on Saturday open agency day, and the window is very crowded. Depending on the congestion situation, you may have to wait a long time (up to 2 hours or more in total) to reception, regardless of the content of the notification or from reception to delivery. Please come with plenty of time in advance.
In addition, reduction of parking fee is limited to 60 minutes in principle regardless of congestion situation.

（１） Obtained at a convenience store
　　　If you have a My Number card, you can get a resident certificate / Seal Registration certificate (* 1) and family register certificate (weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm) at a convenience store

（２） Get online
　　　You need a My Number Card, a smartphone that supports My Number Card, and a credit card.
　　　For more information, please check the online application for certificates (such as family register or resident certificate).
（３） Obtained by mail (Yokohama City Mail Request Office)
　　　For more information, please refer to the Yokohama City Office.
　　　It usually takes about 10 days from the time you post the certificate to arrive.
（４） Obtained at the Administrative Service Corner

　　　Except for holidays (including transfer holidays) and the year-end and New Year holidays, you can use Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

(*1) The "Seal Registration Procedure" is available only to ward offices in Address. If you have not registered, you will not be able to receive it at the administrative service corner or convenience store.

If the following procedures cannot be processed unless you refer to other municipalities or schools, you may be asked to keep it or come back to the agency at a later date.
Please check the documents required for each notification and request beforehand before coming to the Agency.

（２） If you do not have a required documents, etc. for admission to elementary and junior high school entrance or transfer procedures.
（３） When it is necessary to submit a family register notification to a municipality outside the city and confirm the contents of the notification

（４） Application for residence indication (Building Change Notification)
（５） Notification of family register related to birth registration form and marriage registration form
　　　If you need to contact other municipalities or other organizations, and if you cannot confirm it because the contact information is closed, it will be treated as custody.
