Friendship Exchange City

Tanagura Town, located in the southern part of Fukushima Prefecture, has a long history, and traces of living more than 10,000 years ago have been revealed by stone tools found at archeological sites. In the Edo period, it prospered as a castle town of 100,000 stones in the Tanakura clan, it prospered as a political, economic and cultural center of the area, and a key point of transportation.
Blessed with beautiful nature and has an old history, specialty products of the town with an old history include Koshihikari from Tanakura, Tanakura Strawberry, Blueberry, Konjac and seasonal vegetables.

Nishiaizu-cho, located in the northwestern part of Fukushima Prefecture, is said to be the gateway to the west of Aizu, and is a town rich in humanity blessed with old history and beautiful nature as a "spiritual land of Aizu".
Aiming at coexistence of beautiful nature and rich human beings, "contact sightseeing" for encounters with history, "sightseeing with the eyes" in contact with scenic nature, "eating sightseeing" such as wild plants, handmade soba, mountain stream fish, local sake, etc. We work on town planning of sightseeing as pillar.

Wajima City, located northwest of the Noto Peninsula, is a town with a population of about 30,000 surrounded by rich greenery and the sea. In the Middle Ages, the Soto sect's Motoyama "Soji" was opened, and in the century of the Kitamae ship, it was called "Parent's Minato" and flourished as a key point of maritime traffic, and since the middle of the Edo period, the lacquerware industry (Wajima Nuri) became popular.
Currently, the appeal of the town is being transmitted with the three villages concepts of “Urushi no Sato”, “Zen no Sato”, and “Heike no Sato”.
