Final update date April 10, 2020
The Totsuka Ward City Hall Health and Welfare Division Health Promotion Section City Hall, entitled "Totsuka Slojog Project", is implementing various initiatives to ensure that residents of the city can enjoy running such as slow jogging® in a fun way.
The Kashiogawa Night Run (Slow Jogging R Course), which was scheduled to start recruitment on April 13, will be canceled to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections.
The course will be held at Maioka Park and Maioka Hometown Forest (approximately 5 km), and a "maranic" will be implemented by combining slow jogging R and picnic elements that can be easily exercised. If you do not have exercise habits, please feel free to join us. Let's aim for the goal while enjoying the nature and delicious food of Tozuka!

We hold the Kashiogawa Night Run, which runs on the Kashio River at night with slow jogging®, which has been well received every year.
"I want to exercise, but it's hard and troublesome."
"I want to know how to run Slow Jogging®!"
That's a must-see.
This classroom is recommended for beginners.
On the day of the event, a slow jogging association certified advanced instructor will be invited as a lecturer to teach you how to run slow jogging®.
It is a classroom that can be enjoyed by those who are not good at exercising.
We look forward to your participation.

This year, 28 people participated in the Kashiogawa Night Run, which runs on the Kashio River at night with Slow Jogging®, which has been well received every year. We invited Dr. Aya Maeno, an advanced instructor certified by the Slow Jogging Association, to teach us how to run the Slow Jogging® happily, and also enjoyed those who said, "I'm not good at exercising ..."
On Saturday, November 10, 2018, we held a "Slow Jogging® Maranic" course on Maioka Park and Maioka Hometown Forest (about 5 km), with 57 people participating.
Maranic (marathon + picnic) aims for the goal while enjoying the scenery and snacks without competing for time. This year, the Maioka Hometown Village Rainbow House started with a surojog (run at a walking pace), and the checkpoints set up on the course were very popular with health measurement, slow jogging® mini-lecture, and tasting of delicious food and sashimi brand. did. At the goal (Maioka Hometown Village Rainbow House), the finishers were also given soup, and they commented, "I enjoyed running 5km and the tasting was delicious."
Even if you are worried, "I don't usually exercise and can run 5km?", Slow Jogging® while chatting with everyone is in no time. When I came back, everyone's expression was full of fulfillment and very nice. I would be glad if you could take this opportunity to incorporate slow jogging® into your daily life.
In Totsuka Ward will continue to support those who want to start exercising!

On Sunday, November 26, 2017, the "MARANIC (Maranic)" event was held at Slow Jogging®.
In the fine autumn weather, 15 people participated. Maranic is a combination of a marathon and a picnic. Instead of competing for time and distance, you run while enjoying beautiful scenery and delicious food.
This time, we started the Maioka Hometown Village Rainbow House and went around a 7.5km course centered on satoyama.
On the way, I stopped by the Japanese confectionery shop "Ishikawa" and the gelato shop "Ono Farm" of a fresh food brand registration store. Everyone who chose Japanese sweets and gelato was full of smiles and seemed to be very happy.
Even if you are worried, "I don't usually exercise and can run 7.5km?", Slow Jogging® while chatting with everyone is in no time.
When I came back, everyone's expression was full of fulfillment and very nice. I would be glad if you could take this opportunity to incorporate slow jogging® into your daily life.
In Totsuka Ward will continue to support those who want to start exercising!
In fiscal 2017, we also held a course on the Kashio River Night Run (May course and June course), explaining the effects, running methods, and eating habits of slow jogging®, and running for about 30 minutes on the Kashio River riverbed.
Why don't you review your daily exercise habits and find out what you want to be?
In order to continue exercising, it is important to set goals first and evaluate whether you have achieved or could not.
