The safe community is an international certification that uses data to determine the cause of accidents and injuries, and is given to towns where the community, related organizations, and the government are working together.

Sakae Ward has set up subcommittees for each of eight themes.
In subcommittees, efforts are being improved by using a PDCA cycle system.
