About maintenance of Hongodai station square complex public facilities (tentative name)

A complex public facility will be developed in front of Hongodai Station (formerly national land).

On the former state-owned land in front of Hongodai Station developed by Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co., Ltd., there are three facilities: Hongo District Center (relocation), Community Care Plaza (newly established), and Sakae Residents' Activities Center (Relocation). (Total floor area: approximately 1500 m2), the company has been conducting discussions with the company in Yokohama City in the direction of developing a complex public facility that has been established on February 26, 2019. In the future, based on this agreement, we will proceed with the development of complex public facilities.

Contents of past efforts

Based on the "Hongodai Station Area Town Development Plan" formulated in May 2015 and the district plan around Hongodai Station, including the state-owned land announced in July 2016, the center of Sakae Ward. With the aim of forming a welfare and exchange base in front of Hongodai Station, which includes the state-owned land announced in July 2016.
In addition, from December 2017 to August 2018, Hongodai station square complex public facilities (tentative name) centered on nearby union chairperson, vice chairperson of Hongo district center committee, welfare activity groups, etc. Construction Committee ※Held three times, and discussions were held on the design of the facility, taking into account the opinions received as appropriate.
