When your animal (dog, cat, or other animal) is missing
Pets that have been lost can be protected in various places. Please contact the following organizations as soon as possible.

When a dog has a bite accident
If your dog bites or hurts a person, the owner must notify Health and Welfare Center within 24 hours from the date they become aware of the fact. In addition, dog owners must have a veterinarian examine the dog and assess rabies within two days of the accident.
When the animal is killed
If your animal dies and cannot be processed by yourself, please contact the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Central Office (tel: 045-621-6952). If you would like individual cremation, please consult Totsuka Saijo (tel: 045-864-7001) or a private pet funeral company.

If your dog has died, notify Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division of death. We also accept reports by telephone contact.
When a dog or an injured cat is protected
When it is no longer possible to keep it.
If you are unable to keep your pet for any reason, look for a new owner who will continue to take responsibility at your own risk. There is also a way to consult your veterinary clinic or animal welfare organization.
If you still cannot find a new owner, please consult with Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in Address.
