A food drive will be held at the Minami Ward Office and Collection Office!

　"Food Drive" is an activity that collects food that can still be eaten but is discarded, distributes it to groups that support food, such as children's cafeterias and elderly meals, and effectively utilizes it.

　As one of our efforts to reduce food loss, Minami Ward conducted a food drive for a limited time in October, the Food Loss Reduction Month, and donated many food items.
　We push forward this approach further and carry out permanently in ward office and collection office from March.

2 Place Reception hours
　　・On the 6th floor of the Minami Ward Office, 6th floor, 8: 45～17：00
　　・South Office 2nd floor entrance 　　　　Date of opening 9: 00～16：00

3 Food Collected by Food Drive
　　・Unopened packages (not damaged packaging)
　　・Those with a shelf life of two months or more
　　・Items that can be stored at room temperature
　　※Food that cannot be accepted (e.g.)
　　　Items that require temperature control, such as fresh foods and frozen foods, handmade foods, alcohols

4 Food Suppliers
　　Through the Minami Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare, we provide free of charge to those who need assistance, such as children's cafeterias and single-parent families.
