Check ups for Infants and Toddlers
We perform Health Checkups in Health and Welfare Center, ward for 4 months, 1 year and 6 months and 3 years old. We will send a letter to the target child from Health and Welfare Center. This is an important opportunity to check your child's growth and development, and to consult about raising children. We usually listen to your child, so if you are watching the child, please bring your child. If you need an interpreter, please consult with the ward office in advance.
In addition, you can receive Health Checkups three times by 12 months (less than 13 months) at a fixed medical institution in the city using the consultation card in the spelling of the Maternal and Child Health Handbook health checkup ticket spelling. Health Checkups and childcare consultation are free of charge. There is a charge for the treatment of the disease.

Audiovisual health check-up
Abnormality in the child's vision or hearing may result in low vision or delayed language development.
Every year, three-year-olds are tested for vision and hearing at nursery schools and kindergartens, so be sure to take it. If you have not attended a nursery school or kindergarten, or have moved to Yokohama City, please apply directly to the following contact information.
