About consumer awareness investigation about reserved bus
We performed questionary survey to receive Karuizawa ski bus accident, and to grasp about the use situation of consumers, consciousness about safety about reserved buses such as sightseeing tour or ski tour and high-speed carryall in Consumer Affairs Agency.
From findings, we understood the following things.
１．"SAFETY BUS" (safety bus) mark is hardly known.
２．Consumers have intention to bear expense about approach about security.
３．Person who is always doing seat belt at the time of bus riding together is about 40%.
Based on such a result, Consumer Affairs Agency called in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism so that information about safety which served as a reference when user chose bus was provided clearly.
