Floor area ratio easing policy for accommodation facilities

In June 2016, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism notified local governments about easing the floor area ratio of accommodation facilities as an initiative to promote the development of accommodation facilities that contribute to the promotion of tourism nation.
With the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the city will also receive the notification of the government in order to improve the stay environment for visitors by the location of high-quality accommodation facilities. We have formulated a ratio mitigation policy.
