About password change of my number card

Summary

Four passwords that we set to my number card are available for change freely. (when we can input password setting)
※Procedure of resetting of password is necessary now when we do not know password setting. About reset procedure, please see page about password reset of my number card.

Confirmation method with PC of home

Using PC of home, change of password is possible through the Internet. With PC and Internet connection environment, IC card leader lighter and user client software are necessary.

Inquiry about public personal identification

Change in ward office Family Registry Division of ward to live

At ward office Family Registry Division window of ward to live, we accept change procedure of password.

When the person goes through the procedure

Take my number card. After checking password setting, we set new password now.

When legal representative goes through the procedure (in the case of adult and with less than 15 years old in person changing password ward)

In the case of change procedure, company of the person changing password is necessary.

Necessary thing

  • My number card of the person changing password
  • One point of identity verification documents of legal representative
  • Confirmation documents of the power of attorney
    • The person is case younger than 15 years: All the family register matter certificate (certificate of family register)
      ※One with permanent domicile is unnecessary. In addition, it may become omissible when it is legal representative in resident certificate when we can confirm.
    • In the case of ward adult the person: Adult guardianship entry certificate

When any proxy/agent goes through the procedure

We mail document to the person changing password and, after the application reception desk, confirm new password (document inquiry).
As procedure is not completed on the day of the application, please be careful. For details, please refer to ward office Family Registry Division.

  • Identity verification documents (we do not mind even identity verification documents which does not have photograph of the face) of any proxy/agent
  • Proxy

  • One point of identity verification documents (other than my number card another one point) of the person changing password
  • Two points of identity verification documents (other than one point of identity verification documents with photograph of the face which public office issued another one point) of any proxy/agent
  • Answer book that filled in required items
  • Proxy (there is entry column to answer book)
