Consultation on house indications - Implementation of house indication

1.Please talk with window service section that local representative wants to display house.

If you display the residence, the Address of all residents will change. As it becomes business that the whole area is concerned, I would like consultation from local representative (self-government chairperson, neighborhood chairperson) by all means.
If there is an individual request to display the residence, please consult with the Union Neighborhood Associations / Neighborhood Association.

2.I will explain the system to the representatives of Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association.

"I want to carry out the house indication, but what should I do specifically?" If you have any questions such as "How to explain to the residents?", The staff of the city hall will explain the housing display system to local representatives in response to requests from Neighborhood Association / Neighborhood Associations.

3.Please submit a request form.

If you agree that you would like to carry out a house indication in the area, please submit a request form.
In the request form, please state the reason for wanting to carry out the house indication and the situation of the town.

4.Establishment of the House Labeling Review Committee

The Housing Indication Exploratory Committee will be set up with local representatives (self-government chairperson and neighborhood chairperson) and related organizations (police department, Post Office, Legal Affairs Bureau) as members.

5.Handouts will be distributed to each household in the area where the housing indication will be implemented. (Start of study)

We will describe in the flyer that we have begun studying the implementation of the house indication and a brief system explanation of the house indication.

6.Examination of house indication

At the House Display Exploratory Committee launched in 4, please consider the boundaries of the town and the Shinmachi name plan accompanying the house indication implementation. The staff of the city hall and ward office also participates in the Exploratory Committee and provides support for the examination.
In addition, the items to be considered here should be considered over time to have a major impact on the lives of the residents.

7.Holding regional briefing session on housing indication

About one year before the indication of the house, we will explain to the target area what the house display is and how it will change when the house display is implemented.
Prior to the event, we will distribute information on the briefing session and simple information on house indication to each household in the area where the house indication will be implemented.

8.Consult with Yokohama City Housing Indication Council and obtain a report.

The Yokohama City Housing Indication Council, organized by academics and representatives of local residents, will discuss the new town name and Shinmachi area examined by the Housing Indication Exploratory Committee.

9.We announce plan of area and town name in Yokohama city bulletin.

If you approve the new town name and Shinmachi area plan at the Housing Display Council, we will post a notice in the Yokohama City Newsletter.

10. We'll judge at Yokohama City Council.

In accordance with the law, it is necessary to go through the City Counsil.
In City Counsil, please discuss about carrying out house indication and new town area.

11. We will notify the finalized town area, town name and implementation time in the city bulletin.

If you have a decision in City Counsil, we will post a notice in the Yokohama City Newsletter about the new town name, Shinmachi area, and the date of residence indication.
※The date of residence indication will be determined by this notice.

12. I'll let you know the new Address.

About one month before the indication of the residence, Yokohama City will notify residents of the new Address. At the same time, along with the notice of New Address, "AddressAddress" will be distributed to each home.

13. Holding regional briefings on the implementation of residences

About one month prior to the indication of the residence, we will hold a briefing session to the people in the target area on how the Address and permanent domicile will change and what needs to be changed in Address.

14. Residential indication

The name of the town and town area will be renewed by displaying the residence.
