Responding to the case of dengue fever in Japan

Since August 2014, there have been several cases of dengue fever (domestic infection) in Japan that have never traveled abroad.
No infection due to mosquito bites living in Yokohama was confirmed.
In addition, from September 5 to September 9, 2014, we closed a sea park in Kanazawa Ward to conduct mosquito monitoring surveys.
As a result, no dengue virus was detected in the collected Aedes albopictus.
