Lighting up has started and you can enjoy it at night!!!

• Light-up time: After sunset until 20:00
• Location: Konan Ward Office 1st Floor Kumin Hall

• Shooting from the ward office: Weekdays 9:00-17:00 only
• Shooting from outside the ward office: Anytime OK

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, we held an art workshop "Singing Colors / Ring Colors" under the blue sky. Thank you very much to everyone who came to the event and cooperated in making the work.
The works created by artist Asae Soya and the visitors will be exhibited at the ward office until the end of March 2024!

Participants put a colorful water-shaped sticker on a pattern made of polarizing film with a large glass window as a canvas, creating a "sounding color" like a large splash.
Workshops are free to enter and leave during the opening hours.

■Participation procedure

1. Choose a few water-shaped seals
2. Add a selected sticker on top of the design affixed in advance to draw a picture of a large splash.

Artist. He continues to produce both paintings and installations. Graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2006. He has won numerous awards, including the Showa Shell Sekiyu Contemporary Art Award in 2001, the VOCA Exhibition 2002 VOCA Award (Grand Prix) in 2002, the Yokohama Cultural Award Cultural and Arts Encouragement Award in 2013, and the Kanagawa Cultural Prize Future Award. In 2013, he held a solo exhibition "Sorairo" at Art Tower Mito in 2013 and a solo exhibition "Assotani Ase Exhibition Tokofuwari" at Spiral Garden in 2022. He has produced exhibitions and public art in Tokyo, New York, Basel, and Xi'an. He stayed in New York as an overseas trainee for the Agency for Cultural Affairs in 2014, and Basel as a TOKAS bilateral Exchange Program in 2018.
