Rugby World Cup 2019 TM Final Public Viewing (November 2, 2019)

In 2019, the final match of the world's highest rugby tournament "Rugby World Cup 2019TM" was held at Yokohama International Stadium in the city. This is the second round of the Soccer and Rugby World Cup will take place in the same stadium, following Paris's Stud de France.

Overview

Rugby World Cup 2019TM began in September, and Yokohama International Stadium in Kohoku Ward, seven games including semi-finals and finals.
Kohoku Ward held the Rugby World Cup 2019 TM Final Public Viewing was held on Saturday, November 2nd.
Date and time: 17:00 on Saturday, November 2, 17:00 ~ (Kick-off 18:00)
Location: Kohoku public hall (26-1, Dodocho, Kohoku-ku)
Participation fee: Free of charge
Application method: From the application below
Capacity: The first 500 people (application period: October 15 to October 31) ※Recruitment (14:00 on October 30 to 12:00 on November 1)
Organizer: Kohoku Ward

Notes:
Drinking and smoking are prohibited in the museum. Also, please refrain from eating and drinking in the auditorium.
Elementary and junior high school students and younger are not allowed to participate.

※The application has been closed because the capacity was reached at 13:26 on October 15, but due to the cancellation of the winner, we will recruit again (first come, first served).
Recruitment period: From 14:00 on October 30 to 12:00 on November 1

State of the day

Entrance of Public Viewing Venue

Rugby World Cup 2019 TM will be held in England vs. South Africa.
Kohoku public hall, a public viewing venue, opened from 17:00 and attracted about 350 visitors.

Talk show

At 17:30, a talk show was held by Mr. Atsushi Kanazawa, head coach of the former Keio University Physical Education Association kickball Club (Rugby Club).
Mr. Kanazawa, who was active at Keio University in Kohoku Ward, talked about the highlights of the game, the fun of rugby, and the spread of rugby in Kohoku Ward.

Also, during the talk show, the children were taught how to take and throw the ball on stage. The children who went up on stage also passed the ball happily.

In the venue, there are also rugby ball display, rugby experience corner, and "Let's write a support message on the paper flag!" Corners were set up, and children and families enjoyed it.

Inside the venue

During the match, the participants also sweated in their hands, so loud voices and applauded "O" and "Oh" at each chance and pinch in both participating countries.
