Promotion of book-reading activities

　It enforced "the regulations about promotion of book-reading activities of Yokohama citizen" from April 1, 2014 to support citizen's book-reading activities from child to elderly person widely in Yokohama-shi.
　We continued four aims from "Kohoku Ward book-reading activities promotion target" (2014 development) to plan promotion of book-reading activities depending on regionality of ward in Kohoku Ward based on the regulations and devised "Kohoku Ward second book-reading activities promotion aim" that performed review or addition of approach contents in each aim based on past result and problem in October, 2020.
　We give ward and push forward approach to be connected for promotion of book-reading activities while ward office, library, facility, school in ward concerned cooperating, and utilizing days (23 days a month) of reading for book-reading activities promotion month (November).

　In one of "the second Kohoku Ward book-reading activities promotion target", there is "promotion of book-reading activities depending on growth of children" and is going to work on promotion of book-reading activities around school library.
　We present whiteboard (message board) which we can introduce recommended books which teacher and elementary school studenｔ student chose to to all the ward county schools to plan promotion of further book-reading activities to primary and secondary student while importance of reading in corona evil increases. In addition, we distribute this recommended introduction card which Kohoku library librarian chose in addition.
　In for each one elementary and junior high school of representative, we hold the presentation ceremony from Director General.

　We made Kohoku library, district center, community house, rental of book including citizen's library room and facility in ward that we could read map.

　We settled event held in public facilities of Kohoku Ward in book-reading activities promotion monthly November! Please be careful because you do not distribute event calendar of 2020.
　In addition, confirmation of Twitter of homepage and Kohoku Ward of holding place, please beforehand by all means because information about event with limits such as the number of participants and new coronavirus infectious disease measures is placed on that day. Story-telling of picture book talk, and please participate in pleasant reading event including meeting.
