2011 Kanazawa inhabitant of a ward awareness survey

In order to ask the residents' opinions on ward administration and daily life, Kanazawa Ward conducted the 2011 Kanazawa inhabitant of a ward awareness surveyKanazawa Ward.

The survey results report can be viewed on this page, and can be viewed at the Public Relations Section on the 1st floor of the ward office, 1st floor, 3rd window Planning and Adjustment Section on the 4th floor, and viewed and rented at the Kanazawa Library.

  5. Investigation period From Wednesday, July 6, 2011 to Friday, July 22, 2011
  6. Recovery results Effective collection 1,906 cases, collection rate 63.5%
    Previous FY 2009 1,748 cases (recovery rate: 58.3%)

Characteristics of this time-a town that is livable and has continued to live-

  1. Evaluation of the environment and natural environment of residential areas are evaluated
    90% of those who feel comfortable living where they live now are "livable" (38.0%) and "well livable" (52.0%) are at a high level of 90% of the total. The most common reasons were "environment of the residential area itself" (53.0%), "natural environment" (49.2%), and "the convenience of transportation from home to the nearest station" (47.2%).
  2. 74.8% intend to settle down
    Regarding whether to continue living in the current location, 34.1% of respondents "continue to live" and 40.7% of "perhaps continue to live" and 74.8% intend to settle down. It exceeded 67% of the Yokohama public awareness survey in 2011.
  3. The most important measures are for disaster prevention and disaster countermeasures.
    The most common measure that we want the government to focus on is "disaster prevention and disaster countermeasures", with more than half of the respondents select (52.8% of questions that select the top three). "Services for the elderly and disabled to live with peace of mind" (50.4%) and anti-crime program measures (33.1%). In the survey two years ago, "Disaster Prevention and Disaster Countermeasures", ranked first.
  4. Of particular concern when a major earthquake occurs, the shutdown of the public utilities.
    The top three items of concern in the event of a major earthquake were "stopping the public utilities water supply and electricity" (69.0%), "safety of family and acquaintances" (57.3%), and "securing food and daily necessities" (34.5%).
  5. Every worries are about my illness and old age
    The top three items of worries and worries about yourself and your family's life are "My illness and retirement" (50.7%), "Family health and living problems" (45.6%), "Economic and living expenses" (36.9%). This ranking agrees with the results of the 2011 Yokohama Public Awareness Survey.
