On March 5, Kanagawa Disaster Prevention Seminar was held in Yokohama Disaster Risk Reduction Learning Center. Under the theme of "The Reality of affected areas from a Women's Perspective", a short play by Mariko Yoshida, President of Kanagawa Women's Conference, and a short play by Mariko Kawai's adaptation and direction by Mariko Kawai.
This skit considers disaster prevention, and lets everyone know that in the event of an emergency, problems based on gender differences are noticeable, and in order to realize a gender equality society. The aim is to have that awareness.
With the aim of realizing a gender equality society, the Kanagawa Women's Conference organizes lectures and workshops for people who have experienced earthquakes in The Great Hanshin Earthquake and affected areas from the perspective of women and disaster prevention. There, we aim to spread disaster prevention skits so that disaster prevention related organizations that are not directly related to gender equality can easily understand and sympathize with issues from women's perspective.

In the lecture by Mr. Yoshida, the background of the performance of the disaster prevention skit, the scenario attracted the sympathy of younger generations such as university students, and is effective as an educational tool for young people, and women to local leaders such as the chairman of Neighborhood Association. He talked about what he wanted to raise the ratio of women.
Based on the original work of Mr. Yoshida, Mr. Kawai, who is engaged in reading lectures incorporating music and language play games, is adapted and directed by Mr. Yoshida, and plays music and drama activities on a daily basis. The experienced person performed as a member of "Mariko ☆ Miyujiamu".

In situations where evacuation shelters are assumed, consideration for women's supplies when receiving aid supplies, troubles around laundry and drying areas, division of roles in evacuation shelters, baby crying at night, night police to prevent sexual damage The actual cases, such as the formation of a team, were comically performed, and attracted visitors into the scene.

In addition, gender equality through drama, such as situations where women who work in their daily lives apply for vacation in the community, their boss does not look a good face, and situations where disaster prevention measures such as condominiums need to create a community. A message to the construction of a society has been transmitted.
In situations where foreigners were confused during a disaster, visitors also jumped in and participated in skits, calling for the importance of expanding the community circle, including foreigners and disabled people.

In evacuation shelters, workplaces, condominiums, etc., disaster prevention skits that capture shelter life and disaster drill from the perspective of women was not aware of new issues that had not been recognized in regional disaster prevention until now. I think
After the skit, as a workshop, all visitors raised their thoughts on disaster prevention and their impressions of the skit on two colored papers, and the awareness of the venue was visualized. Visitors showed that they had a high awareness of disaster prevention and gender equality.

The National Institute of Disaster Prevention Science and Technology (RIETI) has published a national seismic motion prediction map. According to the report, the probability of an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 6 or less will come to Kanagawa Ward within 30 years is 82.4%, and 31.9% for 6 or more. The number of years of 30 years will slightly weaken the sense of crisis, but the result of calculating the probability of one person being injured in a traffic accident at an insurance company based on 2012 data is 18% in 30 years It seems to be 18%. I think traffic accidents are always conscious as a daily risk, but they are much higher than the probability of getting involved in the traffic accident. I don't know when an earthquake will come, but to be prepared on the premise that it will come on a regular basis.
