You will experience shakeout training (a supply of hot meals) to take safety actions to protect yourself from the shaking of an earthquake (first low, protect your head, do not move) and a cooking bag that uses supply of hot meals with limited wateremergency provisions. Participants will select each section and experience it in a stamp rally method. We were able to experience practical training assuming power outages and water outages in the event of a disaster, such as emergency toilets and transceiver operation experience under the guidance of safety leaders of the disaster prevention volunteer network, how to use emergency tools deployed in evacuation shelter by disaster prevention license leaders and others.

Students from Rokukakubashi, Urashimaoka and Sugeta also participated on the day. Junior high school students are expected to be a great force as a leader in disaster activities in the community. I think participation in the experience fair was a very valuable experience.
A large earthquake can come at any time. It was announced that the probability of an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 6 or less in Yokohama within 30 years was 78%. Although the number of years within 30 years will weaken the sense of crisis, it is said that the probability that a person will have a traffic accident is 0.9% per year and 24% for 30 years. Traffic accidents are always warned as a daily risk, but given that the probability of an earthquake is higher than the probability of encountering a traffic accident, it is very important to be prepared for an earthquake to come on a daily basis.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. Since then, large-scale earthquake disasters such as the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake, Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and the Great East Japan Earthquake have occurred. I believe that learning a lot from the people who experienced disaster rescue and applying it in local disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage activities will not let the lessons learned from the disaster.
I think it was a great opportunity to learn about the importance of disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage's efforts by self support and community support to think about what to prepare to protect yourself and their families.
In the Northern Nagano Earthquake, a maximum seismic intensity of less than 6 was recorded, and although seriously or slightly injured were injured, fortunately no deaths occurred. It is said that the reason was that there was a local connection, such as going to help nearby people immediately after he was saved. The ward office will also work with local residents to improve disaster prevention capabilities and support the expansion of activities of self support and community support.
