We held a workshop for establishment and operation of bases based on NO.4 infectious disease countermeasures

On Wednesday, October 14, in preparation for the establishment and operation of evacuation centers during the COVID-19 pandemic, 68 members of the evacuation shelter, who will be sheltered in the event of a major earthquake.
In this workshop, in addition to explaining the points of evacuation shelters (acceptance) and the points of operation based on infectious disease countermeasures, the staff in charge of disaster prevention in the ward performed demonstrations of evacuees.
In addition, as a countermeasure against infectious diseases, materials and stockpiles deployed at each base are brought to the venue and explained how to use them, so that what is actually deployed and how to handle them. It was an opportunity to get to know.

In the questionnaire conducted after the workshop, we received many opinions and impressions from the participants, and once again felt the high awareness of disaster prevention among the members of the steering committee regarding disaster prevention.
In ward, we will continue to work on safe and secure operation of evacuation shelter including further enhancement of infectious disease measures supplies while referring to opinions that we had.
Inhabitants of the ward, when evacuation is necessary, please bring not only stockpiles such as water and food, but also masks, thermometers, alcohol disinfectants, etc. as infectious disease control supplies. Please.
