Yokohama City Next-Generation Development Support Action Plan "Kagayake Yokohama Children's Youth Plan"

The next-generation upbringing support action plan is formulated by municipalities and prefectures based on the Act on Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation enacted in July 2003.
In Motoichi, following the first half plan (Heisei 17-21: April 2005 development) of Yokohama-shi next-generation upbringing support action plan "Kagake Yokohama child youth plan" (Heisei 17-21: April, 2005 development) and various initiatives are being promoted.

We devised and announced "Kagake Yokohama Children's Youth Plan Late Plan" (Heisei 22-26).

Formulation of the latter term plan (FY2010-FY26)

“Brightening Yokohama Children's Youth Plan Late Plan” (announced on June 28, 2010)

In order to realize the town "Yokohama" that nurtures future generations, all citizens surrounding children cooperated and devised the "Bright Kagake Yokohama Children's Youth Plan Late Plan".

Draft (announced on February 10, 2010)

In formulating the latter term plan (FY2010-FY26), a draft summarizing the philosophy, basic viewpoints, and measures was created. About this draft, we carry out public comment and, after reflecting opinion that citizen had, we confirm and announce latter term plan in future.

Needs Survey for Formulation of Late Plans (FY2008)

In fiscal 2008, we conducted a needs survey with the aim of grasping the actual situation of children and child-rearing families, support needs, and the usage status of services, etc., and obtaining basic materials for formulating the latter half of the plan.

Implementation status of previous fiscal year’s plan

We have set up the "Next Generation Raising Support Action Plan Promotion Council" composed of citizens and businesses to promote the "Kagayaki Yokohama Children's Youth Plan" and to verify and evaluate the contents of the plan. . The Promotion Council confirms the progress of each fiscal year and publishes the results.
