Yokohama City Public-Private Data Utilization Promotion Plan
Based on the Basic Act on Promotion of Public-Private Data Utilization and the Basic Regulations on the Promotion of Public-Private Data, the Yokohama City Public-Private Data Utilization Promotion Plan (Planning Period: 2018 to 2021) was formulated after public opinion solicitation. Since fiscal 2022, we have positioned the Yokohama DX Strategy as a plan to promote the utilization of public-private data in Yokohama, and are promoting initiatives for data utilization.

Point
Collaboration and co-creation
We will promote research and research on initiatives and data utilization utilizing advanced technologies and data such as IoT and AI through collaboration and co-creation, which are the strengths of the city.
University collaboration
We will collaborate with universities and research institutes, including Yokohama City University, which opened the Faculty of Data Science in 2018.
Policy formation based on data
We push forward awareness raising about usefulness of data of city staff and promote data utilization in policy formation of each ward bureau more.
