When disaster happens in the city, in Water Works Bureau, it comprises and concludes Yokohama-shi tubing cooperative and "agreement about cooperation at the time of disaster" in 2005, but we make use of experience by Kumamoto earthquake and strengthen cooperation to be able to perform restoration and emergency water supply activities such as water supply facilities more quickly.
Specifically, "offer of water supply materials to use for leak of water repair at the time of disaster" revises "gathering of union member to disaster water station ※ 1" in agreement that included new contents such as "cooperation to disaster drill of normal time".

By Kumamoto earthquake that occurred in April, 2016, there was serious damage in water supply facilities, and restoration worked in affected areas of Kumamoto-shi, Kumamoto and Mashikimachi with union members of Yokohama-shi tubing cooperative in City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau.
