Overview of the program:

Since the opening of the port, Yokohama City has built a network with overseas cities and institutions, and has developed its own local government diplomacy, making use of the results of international cooperation so far. Yokohama City is promoting various international cooperation projects with the aim of realizing "Yokohama that grows with the world."
One of these projects is the “Y-PORT Project for International Technical Cooperation through Public-Private Partnerships Utilizing Yokohama's resources and technologies” aimed at supporting the resolution of urban issues in emerging countries and other countries, which started in January 2011.
The program focuses on this Y-PORT project. Focusing on the Da Nang Urban Development Forum held in Da Nang, Vietnam in late December last year, we will closely interview Yokohama City officials, Da Nang officials, as well as corporate representatives from Yokohama City, officials from Da Nang, and as well as corporate representatives from Yokohama, to draw a new way of international cooperation.
