2014 The 1st Da Nang Urban Development Forum

December 22-23 in cooperation with Da Nang City, Vietnam, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Motoichi, which have signed a memorandum of understanding on urban development with Motoichi (April 2013), December 22-23 We will hold the "Da Nang Urban Development Forum" in Da Nang City.
In Da Nang, problems such as adverse effects on the environment, rapid development of urban areas, lack of various infrastructure facilities have become apparent due to industrial agglomeration associated with economic development and rapid population growth. It is a situation that could hinder the development of the city in the future.
In order to solve these issues, the Da Nang Urban Development Forum will be held to promote specific discussions with Da Nang City-related bureaus while maximizing the city's know-how on urban development. We will build an integrated infrastructure development promotion system in Da Nang City and form specific action plans.
In addition, the city is considering the active introduction of PPP methods in infrastructure projects, but JICA and the city will proceed with discussions based on specific examples to expand the introduction of PPP methods in the city in the future. . At the same time, it is expected that Japanese companies will propose concrete PPP projects using this forum as an entry point, and discussions with the Da Nang City authorities to eliminate bottlenecks in business promotion utilizing the forum.
This forum is scheduled to be held in both Higoshi for a total of four times (approximately one year), and this is the first one.
