The change of name of a street
April 1, 1927Tsuzuki county Nishitani-mura was incorporated into Hodogaya-ku, Yokohama-shi, and Kawajima-machi was born.-
April 1, 1939Tsuzuki county capital Okamura, Futamatagawa-mura were incorporated into Yokohama-shi (Hodogaya Ward), and approximately previous village became town, and Kamikawai-cho, Shimokawai-cho, Kawaicho, Imajukucho, Kamishiranecho, lower Shiranecho, Futamatagawa-cho, Santandacho, Otakacho, Ichizawacho were born (area where current Asahi Ward almost added a part of former Kawajima-machi to this).
It is 11 towns in name of a street.

January 1, 1941Lower Shiranecho is abolished and becomes Shiranecho.-
April 1, 1961Minamikibogaoka is born from a part of Futamatagawa-cho, and Higashikibogaoka, Nakakibogaoka become 14 towns from Futamatagawa-cho, for each one copy of Otakacho.14 towns
November 1Shikimidai, Imagawa-cho, Zenbucho are born from Futamatagawa-cho, for each one copy of Otakacho, and Honmuracho becomes 18 towns from a part of Futamatagawa-cho.18 towns
