 In October, monthly World Food Day (to outside site)
Toward world food D of October, we perform various approaches under world food D month and cosponsorship (to outside site)
It recruits participants of food loss reduction symposium.

October 16 "world food D."

It is "day to think about world food problem" that the United Nations set. If monthly, we do October with "world food D" in "world food D" in Japan, and NGO/NPO and international organization call for acting for solution together.

It should have important role that does not merely only meet stomach for anyone "to eat".

Give heart and body vitality, and tie person who cooked ingredients and dish and eating person; and ...

On the other hand, it is fact that it is everyday event for many people as for "throwing away" by "we order dish too much and cannot eat" food which "the expiration date has passed". Though food which all people can only eat is produced, there are many people who have uneasiness whether you are eaten enough today, and there are the present conditions to be.

At this symposium, U.N. agency, NGO/NPO, company, the government working on starvation, poverty, food loss gather and introduce approach to lose activity for all people to be able to eat in peace and waste of food from various viewpoints. Monthly, do you not think of "eating" and food about "throwing away" in "world food D" of October together?

We are from the Democratic Republic of Congo. We acquire bachelor (psychology) and master (industrial psychology) in Kisangani University. After having done birch in university of commerce in capital Kinshasa for three years, we visit Japan in 1990 and acquire doctorate in Nagoya University Graduate School international development graduate course. We work in United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) from 1997 and take up our new post as FAO liaison office's first foreign director to Japan after New York liaison office, duty in the Rome headquarters in August, 2013. We do birch as guest professor in Catholic University of mother country.

We are from Saitama. We participate in activity of the second her best Japan from January, 2009. For from March, 2011 to July, 2014, we work on food support to survivors in Ishinomaki, Miyagi. We come back to Tokyo office from August, 2014 and engage in pantry duties. We are struggling toward foods safety net construction.

We are from Chiba. We enter Ito-Yokado in 1997 and work in headquarters General Affairs Department after shop duty from 2001. After material procurement, store cleaning administrative task, we engage as appropriate handling of overall group, teller of promotion duties of 3R from 2014.

We are from Kanagawa. We enter Yokohama City Hall in 1982. Through Road and Highway Bureau and Environmental Planning Bureau, the Sakae Ward head, it is taken up the new post in 2016 by the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau head. We place reduction of "food loss" occurring in the city as important point problem and hold this symposium.
